Custom Gown | Abigale's Swiss Dot Longsleeve Wedding Gown
Now that the cool weather finally arrived, I want to share some of special images from one of my previous Fall brides’ wedding. Abigale was in search of the perfect romantic and delicate ballgown for her wedding and was having trouble finding “the one”. She had tried on enough gowns to have an idea of what she was looking for but couldn’t find those perfect elements in one dress. We met in Belton, Texas one afternoon on my way home from Dallas and instantly hit it off! I knew exactly what she needed and started sourcing the perfect swiss dot (aka pointe d’esprit) fabric for her and her custom wedding dress.
The focal point of Abigale’s wedding dress was going to be the neckline. She didn’t want anything heavy or over the top, but to keep her gown timeless and chic. Her bodice featured a scoop ballerina neckline with ruched tulle and sheer longsleeves. For the skirt we went with a full a-line swiss dot tulle skirt with champagne ribbon belt and bow.
I absolutely love how soft the swiss dot tulle was and how fun it looked swishing on the dance floor! Although the skirt was quite full it had a lightness to it, and Abigale looked so beautiful and joyful the entire day, xo.
