Styled Shoot | Addison Grove Lavender and Grey Inspiration
Hello friends! It is Thursday so I figured this was the perfect day for a throwback post to one of my first shoots in Austin after I moved to the Texas Hill Country. I had recently met Twyla, the most talented florist and owner of Remi + Gold who was participating in this shoot and was kind enough to recommend me to provide the dress. I teamed up with photographer Kristi Mark of Markit Photography to dream up the perfect dress for the shoot. The inspiration was soft and romantic grey and lavender and she had found the perfect background at the new Dripping Springs venue The Addison Grove. The grey Maisie gown I created was a soft dove grey two-piece wedding gown that was a simple and modern take on a wedding gown. The Maisie gown features a ruched starburst strapless bodice with a flowing a-ling tulle skirt and train. The dreamy soft tulle paired perfectly with the romantic grounds of the venue and dreamy pond.
The lavender inspiration carried throughout the shoot even in the delicious dessert and donuts by Simply Delicious Custom Cakes and plum vintage glassware from Birch and Brass Rentals . Every detail came together perfectly into an absolutely beautiful day, and it was the perfect introduction to the Texas Hill Country. I am so grateful to have built my little wedding business among such talented vendors!
